Terms

Terms of use

Effective October 8, 2026. These terms cover the Vialist iPhone app and this website. Vialist ("we", the publisher of the Vialist app) offers them. By using the app or the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. Apple's terms also apply

If you got Vialist from the App Store or TestFlight, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app, and these terms add to it. If the two conflict on a point about the app license, Apple's agreement controls. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its support.

2. Vialist is a record, not medical advice

Vialist is not medical advice. It records what you enter: protocols, doses, vials, results and notes. It does arithmetic on those numbers, such as converting milligrams to syringe units. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It does not recommend doses and does not tell you what to take or how much.

Reference information in the app, such as ranges reported in published studies or by users, is a summary of what others report. It is not a recommendation for you. The website calculator converts the numbers you type and does not suggest a dose.

You are responsible for every decision you make about your health, and for checking every number before you act on it, including the units to draw. Consult a licensed clinician about any substance, dose, or change. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

3. Who can use Vialist

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for following the laws where you live, including laws about the substances you record. Vialist does not sell, source, or ship any substance, and it does not endorse any seller.

4. Your data stays with you

Vialist has no account and no server for your records. Your data lives on your iPhone. We cannot see it, recover it, or restore it for you. If you delete the app or lose your phone without a backup, your records are gone.

Backups and exports are files you create and keep. You are responsible for where you store and share them. The privacy policy explains what the app stores and how to delete it.

5. The beta

A TestFlight beta, if you are on one, is a test version. Features may change or be removed, and it may have bugs. Keep a backup of anything you cannot lose.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Vialist is free to download and use. The free app includes up to 2 active protocols, plus logging, reminders, the calculator, supplies, history, export and backup. "Vialist Pro" is an optional upgrade that unlocks more, including unlimited active protocols. Features included in Pro may be adjusted over time, and we will describe the current ones in the App Store and on our pricing section. A change never takes away data you created.

Plans. In the United States, Vialist Pro is $4.99 per month, $29.99 per year with a 7-day free trial, or $59.99 once as a lifetime purchase. The App Store shows the price for your country before you buy.

  • Apple handles payment. Purchases are charged to your Apple ID by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or Apple ID.
  • Auto-renewal. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Apple charges your account for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trial. The 7-day trial on the yearly plan converts to a paid yearly subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where Apple's rules say so.
  • Manage or cancel. Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Vialist. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds. Apple handles all refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
  • Lifetime. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no renewal. It unlocks Pro on your Apple ID for as long as you use Vialist, including Pro features added later. You can restore it on a new phone from Settings > Purchases > Restore, using the same Apple ID.
  • Price changes. We may change prices. For subscriptions, a change takes effect only as Apple's rules allow, with notice and, where Apple requires it, your consent. You can cancel before the change applies.

If Pro ends. If your subscription ends or lapses, logging and reminders keep working for every protocol you already have. Your data is never deleted or locked, and your exports always include everything. You keep the free app, including up to 2 active protocols. Pro-only features, such as creating more than 2 active protocols, the runs-out forecast and order plan, the doctor report PDF, the home screen widget, Apple Health import, advanced charts and vial labels, stop being available until you subscribe again.

7. Fair use

Do not copy, resell, or redistribute the app, and do not try to break its security or access other people's data. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you.

8. Ownership

The app, this site, and their design, text and code belong to Vialist or its licensors. Your records belong to you.

9. No warranty

The app and the site are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that they will be error free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Vialist is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any harm that results from a dose or health decision. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Changes and ending use

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version, and material changes will be noted in the app or on this site. You can stop using Vialist at any time by deleting the app.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
