Vialist is a local, personal peptide/therapy log for iOS. It records what you enter (therapies, vials and supplies, logged doses and losses, daily check-ins and body measurements, certificates, and labs) in a database kept on your device, and it never recommends a dose.
Getting help
Email support@vialist.io, or use the Feedback action inside the app (Settings > Feedback). Write your message and, only if you turn on "Attach diagnostics" for that send, the app can include technical details along with it: app version, phone/OS, record counts, and recent error codes. Diagnostics never include compound names, doses, dates you logged, symptoms, sites, or lab values. The app filters and redacts those before anything is attached. Either way, you send it yourself through the iOS share sheet. There is no in-app inbox and nothing is sent automatically.
Backup and restore
Settings has an export that saves your data as a JSON or CSV file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Save it to Files, AirDrop it, or email it to yourself.
Password-protected backups. JSON backups ask you to set a password (at least 10 letters, digits, or spaces) by default, and the file is encrypted with it. You can turn this off in Settings, after a warning. When you restore a protected backup, Vialist asks for the password. A forgotten password cannot be recovered, and we cannot open the backup for you, so keep the password somewhere safe. CSV exports are not encrypted.
To restore, pick a previously exported JSON file from Settings. This replaces everything currently on the phone with what's in that file, so make sure it's the backup you want. A wrong password changes nothing on the phone. Anything logged since your last export and not yet backed up will be gone after a restore. Backups hold the details of each vial's certificate but not the certificate photo or PDF itself, so keep those files separately if you need them on a new phone.
Doctor report
Open Doctor report from History or Settings to make a PDF summary for a clinician. Pick the period (30 days, 90 days, 6 months, or a custom range) and what to include, and check the preview. Injection sites, vendors, lots and prices, your notes, and the full dose log are off by default. The PDF is made on your phone and goes only where you send it through the iOS share sheet. The temporary PDF file is deleted afterward.
Scanning a vial label
You can share a printable label for a vial from the vial screen. When you log a dose, tap Scan vial label and point the camera at the label's QR code to pick that vial. The code holds only the vial's identifier. Vialist asks for camera access the first time. If you said no, turn it on in iOS Settings > Vialist > Camera. The camera image is not saved or sent anywhere.
Sharing a summary
From the summary screen, pick a date range and exactly which therapies, doses, check-in fields, or labs to include. Nothing is added unless you pick it. The preview on screen is exactly what would be shared. Tap Share to send it through the iOS share sheet to whoever you choose (a coach, a clinician, yourself). It is not anonymous even with initials only: initials still sit next to the recorded dose and schedule.
Vialist Pro and purchases
What is free and what is Pro?
The free app includes up to 2 active protocols plus all core logging, reminders, the calculator, supplies, history, export and backup, and privacy. Vialist Pro adds unlimited active protocols, the runs-out forecast and order plan, the doctor report PDF, the home screen widget, Apple Health import, advanced charts (step bands and estimated levels), and vial labels. In the US, Pro is $4.99 per month, $29.99 per year with a 7-day free trial, or $59.99 once for lifetime. The App Store shows your local price.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings > Purchases > Restore in Vialist, on a phone signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. Restoring is free and works for subscriptions and lifetime.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Vialist, and tap Cancel. For a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. We cannot cancel it for you because Apple manages billing.
What is the difference between lifetime and a subscription?
A subscription renews monthly or yearly until you cancel. Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal, and you can restore it on any phone with the same Apple ID.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds, not us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for the purchase.
What happens to my data if Pro ends?
Nothing is deleted or locked. Logging and reminders keep working for every protocol you already have, and your exports and backups always include everything. Pro-only features, such as creating more than 2 active protocols, simply stop being available until you subscribe again.
Home screen and lock screen widget
The widget is part of Vialist Pro. Long-press your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap the plus button, and choose Vialist. It shows the next dose, the time, and the draw. The widget reads a small summary the app keeps on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere. With Hide names on, the widget shows stand-ins instead of names.
Apple Health
Apple Health import is part of Vialist Pro and is read only. Open Settings > Apple Health and tap Connect to let Vialist read your weight, sleep, and heart data so it can sit next to your protocols. Vialist never writes to Apple Health. You can use Remove imported values on that screen to delete what was imported, and you can change access any time in iOS Settings > Health.
Locking the app and hiding names
Under Settings > Privacy, turn on Lock Vialist to require Face ID or your passcode to open the log. Hide names in the app shows short stand-ins for compound and protocol names in Today, Protocols, Supplies and History. Discreet reminder text makes notifications say only "Reminder". All three are free.
Reminders not firing
Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. Vialist does not use push notifications. If a reminder didn't fire, check that iOS is allowing notifications for Vialist:
iOS Settings > Notifications > Vialist, and make sure Allow Notifications is on.
If notifications were off when a reminder was due, iOS will not deliver it after the fact.
Deleting your data
Go to Settings > Delete all data to erase your vials, therapies, doses, losses, check-ins, labs, and certificate files from the device. This cannot be undone unless you have a backup file. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data completely, since nothing is stored anywhere else.
TestFlight beta feedback
If you're on a TestFlight build, please send feedback through TestFlight instead: take a screenshot in the app, or open TestFlight and tap Send Beta Feedback. That routes your note and any screenshot directly to us through Apple's beta feedback tool.
Not a medical device
Vialist is a personal tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it does not give dosing advice. Talk to a licensed clinician about your therapy.
